A haunted castle, a handsome young man dead for four hundred years, one heck of a scary portrait of a witch, and a treasure hunt — not to mention a princess for a roommate! — all await 15 year old American girl Caitlyn Monahan when she earns a scholarship to a French boarding school.   There are secrets behind the stone walls of Chateau de la Fortune, buried for centuries along with the mystery of who killed Raphael, the charming ghost who visits Caitlyn at night. But as Caitlyn unearths the history of the castle, nothing scares her as badly as the secret she learns about herself, and the reason she was chosen to come to the Fortune School.   And nothing breaks her heart as badly as falling in love with a dead guy.

Time, Love and Historic legends are the elements forged to create: Wake Unto Me. Caityln has never felt part of the “normal” world she lives in along with her family lost in castle dreams and a far away but close to her heart land . She finds the opportunity to make this world real when she gets the chance to enroll a school in France. It’s in Chateau de la Fortune where Caityln will meet who she really is and the handsome guy haunting her dreams. I truly loved this book because of its singularity and creativity in which it’s written. Catch shows a story rich in historical elements where fantasy and history are united in an exquisite way. Narration possesses a surprise contrast element. Every turn the story takes is interesting and when the reader thinks they figured out the issue, BOOM!, the author takes us to new places. The romance in the story is elegant and tender. I really liked the way it’s worked; how Caityln and Raphael belong to each other regardless the TIME that sets them apart. However, I wanted more interaction between both. This presentation highlights a new proposal to fantasy YA lovers and romance in my humble opinion is exquisite because of the story’s richness per se. If there’s a sequel, sign me up. Wake Unto Me; where time could not define love and in the hunting for a treasure two souls will be bound together forever.
